Tsakf's foss library

Tsakf's foss library is a project trying to keep blog entries about FOSS, accessible, after some time. In the old days of the web, the most important thing, was, the access to information. Today, everybody is trying to impress, so there are many tools that help spreading the knowledge, like aggregators, rss feeds, twitter and other like tools. They have the disadvantage, that after a while, the information is gone. Some may argue, that information is getting very fast obsolete, nowadays, but there are many scripts and programs, that are used today, even if they were written ages ago. That's what the Library is trying to do. Easy access to that information, with tags.

The search engines are like modern radios, without a tuning knob. Fine to find the selected stations, but no easy way to find something new. Older radios with a turning knob, gave the chance to scan and look for new stations. This is exactly how this library is designed. "Tune" to any tag you like, or let the system choose some random entries, to browse and see what's available. Take a walk at the electonic shelves, to see if there is something interesting. If you are in a hurry, the search engines suite better to you.

Happy browsing!
